The “elektrotechnik”, a trade exhibition for building, industry, energy and lighting technology, will take place from 13 to 15 February 2019 in Dortmund. Visitors are cordially invited to take part in the newly established business talk on Thursday 14 February from 2 p.m. onwards.

The business talk will be introduced by a keynote lecture on the subject of “Industry X.0 – from digital to intelligent companies”. Participant of the following discussion round with representatives from politics, economy, science and society is Dr. Stefan Michaelis, managing director of the Competence Center Machine Learning Rhine-Ruhr (ML2R). The talk entitled “Digitization – Implementation, Opportunities and Challenges in Companies and Society” will be moderated by futurologist Roman A. Retzbach.
