Academy Day of Artificial Intelligence

The North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences, Humanities and the Arts hosted the Academy Day of Artificial Intelligence. The event, which was organized by Prof. Dr. Katharina Morik, was dedicated to Machine Learning as a key technology of Artificial Intelligence.
The spectrum and breadth of North Rhine-Westphalian research in the field of Machine Learning processes was demonstrated at the Academy Day “Artificial Intelligence – Machine Learning as the Key to Artificial Intelligence” at the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences, Humanities and the Arts. ML2R spokeswoman and academy member Prof. Dr. Katharina Morik organized the event, which attracted around 260 visitors to Düsseldorf.
In his lecture, ML2R spokesperson Prof. Dr. Stefan Wrobel gave an insight into the opportunities and challenges of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. In addition to other presentations, successful projects for the development of methods and applications of Machine Learning processes were presented in a poster exhibition.
