The new booklet “KI im Mittelstand: Potenziale erkennen, Voraussetzungen schaffen, Transformationen meistern” (AI in SMEs: Recognizing potentials, laying foundations, mastering transformations) by the Plattform Lernende Systeme presents 17 detailed use cases, hence, highlighting how small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are already benefitting from Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI potentials in SMEs are shown on the basis of concrete implementation concepts. Together with the cooperation partner Achenbach Buschhütten, ML2R contributes to the brochure with a project on intelligent data summaries in rolling mills. ML2R scientists hereby developed new methods for extracting rolling mill data in real time from data streams and reducing it for analysis and processing in the form of data summaries.
