As part of the Digitaltag (Digital Day) 2021, the Competence Center Machine Learning Rhine-Ruhr (ML2R) and the software manufacturer RapidMiner are hosting a joint hands-on workshop. The German-language, virtual event, titled “Machine Learning: An Introduction to the Key Technology of Artificial Intelligence”, on 18 June (10:00 a.m. – 4 p.m. CEST) offers participants of all backgrounds an exciting and practice-oriented introduction to the basics of Machine Learning (ML).

In a joint workshop for the Digitaltag (Digital Day) 2021, ML2R and its cooperation partner RapidMiner will address questions about the key technology of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in a comprehensive and practical manner. Experts from ML2R will share their expertise and explain it through illustrative application cases. Using the graphical software RapidMiner, participants will also learn about a typical ML workflow. Based on a concrete application task, the steps of data preparation, model building, training, prediction, and validation will be explained and exemplarily executed in the software RapidMiner Studio under the guidance of an AI trainer.

The digital workshop is open to all citizens who are interested in receiving an introductory course on Machine Learning! Registration for the event is free of charge. You will then receive the access data for the event as well as instructions on the free of cost installation of the RapidMiner Studio software, which is essential for the practical part of the workshop.
